Lawson's Birthday Bash!

Lawson had his birthday party today and it was loads of fun. He had a veggie tale birthday! He would say a "tales" party! We were blessed to have Mimi, Pop and Caden come in from Abilene:) We also had lots of sweet friends and family from here in Borger come too.... We had cake, cake and more cake and then some burgers for desert:) Lawson got lots of goodies and enjoyed playing with all the kiddos! Thanks to everyone who came! Happy Birthday Baby Boy:)

Lawson is 2!

Happy 2nd Bday my precious little man! Lawson had great birthday on Friday. These pics are from all through the day. When he woke he got to open presents first thing and then he went on his first trip to the donut store with Mommy and Nonee. He wouldn't eat his donut by the way:) Then we took a nap and got ready for round 2! After nap Nonee and Big Pop came over with more presents of course.. and then off to Outfitters for a good steak! He and Addie had a great time at dinner playing and laughing. Then he hit the hay to get ready for the big party on Saturday! I can't believe my baby is 2, he is pure joy to me and just so full of life. He gets cuter by the second!

End of the Year Program

After Graduation on Wednesday night the kids did a end of the year program with all of the Wee School kids and it was precious. They sang great praise songs and showed off their memorized scripture so well! We had a great time!

Kindergarten Graduation

Well it is official we have a Kindergarten graduate! It literally makes my heart a sad and happy all at the same time. She and her friends did great this year and are all going on to bigger and better. God has literally began to form Addie this year in incredible ways. She came to know him this year and she was baptized. Since that point he has done incredible things in her already. We are so proud of her and so blessed by her joyful presence. She is a gift we could have never deserved. We are so excited in the years to come to watch her glorify the Father with the precious life he gave her. We love you with all we have and more Addison Grace. God bless you my precious baby girl:)

The River

We went out to Blue West with our church last week and had so much fun. It is a little river area that is out by Lake Meredith. It is shallow so it is warm and just perfect for the kids. It has sand, rocks and water so Lawson was in pure heaven:) Addison also had a complete blast. The church family camped and cooked out for the entire weekend. They had all sorts of ATV's and 4 wheelers and you name it. We had so much fun and plan on taking the kids a lot this summer:O)

My 1st Marathon!

So here I am running the OKC Memorial Marathon! This was my first marathon(26.2 miles) ever and it was a very unique experience. God grew me, showed me grace, and taught me so much through the accomplishment of this goal in my life. The race was hard and the wind was blowing so hard for most of it, but we persevered and crossed that line. It was an awesome feeling! I think I will do it again sometime, maybe next year. A big huge thanks to my precious husband for going with me to the race, it was so great to have him there. Also to my Mom and Jake for being there, it meant more than they will ever know!

Oklahoma City

So Larry and I went to OKC last weekend for a big event for me.. my 1st marathon! We went in a few days early and really enjoyed our time with our friends the McCowns and the Lemry's. Trisha and April are two girls from here in Borger that trained with me starting last September and we did it! We spent our time getting me registered for the race, hanging out in the room and eating alot! It was a great memory!

Egg Hunt

On Easter we hunted eggs inside because it was rainy and cold outside, but the kiddos got into it anyway. Addison had fallen and was in her wheelchair so Lawson did most of the hunting! I didn't get any pics of the babies together on Easter. They looked so precious their outfit matched and they were so cute on them. But it was a crazy day and before I knew it Lawson was down for a nap and the outfit was off:(

Spring Celebration!

Addison's class had a party to celebrate our risen Lord! We had a great time and the kids got lots of goodies of course!
