Church Christmas Program

Today at church the kids did a program and sang some wonderful Christmas and praise songs. I love it when kids praise their creator.......it never fails I cry:) We are blessed to have such an incredible God, who is so good and loves us beyond what we can imagine. Merry Christmas!

Trip to Grandpa and Grandma's House

This weekend the kids and I went to see my Dad and his wife... and we had a great time. We were able to do Shabbot with them on Friday evening and have some fun. The kids enjoyed their dogs and really enjoyed their birds the most:) Linda made a great meal and then we had some great desserts:) We also opened the kids Hanukkah gifts ad they loved them. Then on Saturday they had planned an outing to the Science Spectrum for the kids and they had a blast. There was the neatest stuff there for both of them and they played their little hearts out. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma for all the fun and a great time together!!!

Gingerbread Houses

Today at school Addison's class made Gingerbread Houses and I got to go and help. We had a lot of fun!!!! It was messy, involved candy, and that is all we needed to enjoy ourselves:) The kids all did good and it was so cute to watch them all get so creative. There was all sorts of candy to decorate with after they built their house and decorate they did...Addison of course was very precise and took her time spreading the icing evenly and wanting it to look just right! (she got that from her Dad, I am just positive she did:) But she did finish and I might add she had the best house in there:)

Ballet Parent Watch Night

Last night Larry and I got to attend Addison's ballet class and watch her progress this year. She and all the girls did great, she has started class at Lone Star Ballet this year and is doing just great. They were all precious ballerina's!

Christmas Program

Addison's Kindergarten class did their Christmas Program this week and she did great of course. They sang 3 Christmas carols and Addison recited Luke 2:11 all by herself:) It was precious, she is memorizing scripture so easily and it blesses my soul. Then we went back to the room and had snacks and a gift exchange. They each got to take a book and recieve a book...it was a really fun time.

Happy 9 Years to my Man

Larry and I had our 9th anniversary on December 4th. He has made me better, more fun and just plain complete. Here are 9 things I adore about the man God so graciously gave me. I love you Larry.

1 Mighty Man of God
2 Best Friend
3 Incredible Father
4 Passionate
5 Willing to Change
6 Funny
7 Persevering
8 Gentle and Kind
9 Forgiving

Snow Time:)

Addison waited patiently all day to get to go outside and play. She had school until 3:00 and then she had to get dinner and go to Gym at 5:00... so it was a long wait to say the least. (she was up at daylight ready for action) So she finally got to get all bundled up and hit the snow tonight. I love kids, they just have fun no matter what(they could care less that is 23 degrees outside with a windchill in the single digits) and their joy is oh so contagious. Larry and I stood at the door and watched her have a blast, making snow angels, eating alot of snow... and being a silly sweet girl:) She was forced to come in after being out for almost an hour and there was no question she could feel not one appendage...but we let her thaw in a warm bath for awhile before bed... and now my sweet snow bunny is fast asleep... I love her so much:)

FIRE!!!

Entertainment is in short supply here in the big city, but don't worry my kids are easy to entertain as long as you involve DANGER and Larry is happy to oblige!!! They love helping Daddy bring in the wood and make a fire.. it is really cute. Addie gets to be hands on and Bubby just stands by and makes grunts, and gets really excited and yells FFFFFFFFFIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEE!!! They truly think there Daddy hung the moon:)

Winter Wonderland:)

Ok not really, but we did have our first snow here in the Panhandle of Texas and it was very pretty. The kids were soooo stinkin excited when they woke up but Addison had to get to school so she got to play later. The pic of Lawson was before we left for bible study this morning and he loves his hat! It is not something I would want to combat everyday but snow is so pure and refreshing, it makes everything look new and inviting.... we are more in the Christmas spirit now too!!!

Borger Christmas Parade

The first ever "Mission Nutrition Herbalife" float was entered into the Borger Christams Parade. Oh yea we are big time now, please contain your excitement:) No really it was lots of fun and the kids loved it....Addison was a little stressed about having to throw the candy and not keeping all 25 bags to herself, but she let go and threw a few pieces anyway. Lawson had a minimum of 25 suckers, wow that is some serious nutrition for ya:) We could no longer feel any of our appendages by the end, but hey no big deal, fun was had by all:) We had some great distrubutors that decorated the float and road on it with us, they did a great job!

Deck the Halls...

Sunday our house got our Christmas on.....it was fun:) Addison was alot of help this year and is just so excited she is beside herself. Larry, Addison and I decorated the tree... Bubby had already checked it in for the night. Addison did great putting the ornaments on and all the other decor as well. She sang and hummed Christmas songs the whole time and was being all sorts of silly:) We are blessed this year at the Hulsey household and look forward to a great Christmas Season. We are thankful most of all for our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
