Lawson had hunting day at WeeSchool the other day and he went decked out in camo, his shirt said I love dirt and he really does! Also the kid tells me the other day on the way to school, "Momma, I LOVE scrap yards...." I said you love what and repeated himself several times and asked if I loved them too.... uhhh we have been in small town America a little too long I think:) He is so full of funnies!
So we had swim party with a rock n roll theme for Addison's bday party. We had it at the junior college activity center here in Borger and they all had a blast. Not sure where all my pics are but I will get them up asap. They had a huge trampoline in the water and it was hours of fun!!!
So wow this is totally out of order and that drives me crazy, but I am keeping this as kind of a memoir for the family and wanted to get this blogged. I am just a little behind at most things in life right now, so bear with me. Addison Grace our little princess turned 7 on Sept.30th!!! I could hardly believe it, such a bitter sweet thing your kiddos growing up so stinking fast!!!!The Lord has blessed her with so many neat gifts, she is really taking to voice and piano more and more each year. She wrote a praise song all by herself and the words brought me to tears, I will blog it with her permission in the near future. She is now working with her piano teacher to write the piano music to it so she can play it and sing it. It brings more joy to my soul than words can express to watch her worship in such a deep way. She loves her some Jesus and it rocks my world!!! She is also doing gymnastics and is mastering an awesome back handspring! Addison you are a gift I could have never deserved, your Dad and I are blessed beyond measure to share with our Heavenly Father in raising you up for his kingdom. I love you so very much and cherish my every moment with you. Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

Sunday night the kids got in costume once again for the grand finale> We went to a few friends houses, of course Nonee and Big Pops house and then we finished out at Trunk or Treat at a local church. With just those few stops we still managed to come home with a truckload of candy!!! ( some will be disappearing real soon)Then we went and had fun at Bennigans playing the Wii and eating some more!!!!
Every year FBC Borger puts on a big Fall Carnival that all the kiddos just love. So this year my pirate and my queen were excited as usual to attend. They had so much fun, I forgot to take my camera in so here are a few pics before we left. Lawson won the cake walk and got some yummy cupcakes and Addie had a great time with all her friends!
Addison started second grade this year and I can truly hardly believe it. We LOVE her school and so does she and she is really doing great! Here are some of the pics off my camera I will post more off my Mom's camera soon.
Lawson and Addie both took swim lessons, there will be pics of Addie to come. But this was Lawson's first year and he took off! He really is part fish, I swear! He had a great time and never wanted it to end, he made bestfriends with one of the lifeguards who really worked with him and just really enjoyed every minute of it!
This summer we had lots of fun and I am way behind so these post are going to be all out of order as we go.. sorry:) But anyway Addison attended tennis camp for the first year and seemed to enjoy it! She was pretty good at it too... so here are some pics!
Addie and I had a special afternoon together a few weeks ago. It is hard to find alone time with just the girls, but I cherish every second when we do. There is a local coffee house here that has great hot chocolate, coffee and yummy treats to enjoy for an afternoon snack:) Love my girl!
Lawson started preschool on Tues. and Thurs. this year. He really enjoys it. It is at the baptist church here were Addie went, it doesn't seem possible he is 3, my how time flies:) They do lots of fun stuff and he is always coming home singing new songs! He has several good friends from church in his class!
On Sundays we eat at Mom's house for lunch and when summer rolls around we usually hang out for the day and let the kids swim and play!!! So this Sunday that is just what we did all afternoon until we got so hungry we all had to go to DQ for some treats! Daddy and Addie Grace shared her very first banana split and they licked their bowl clean to say the least:) Lawson had an ice cream cone and don't worry he dipped his sisters left over grilled cheese in there and ate it all down!!! He is a boy through and through, I tell ya !!!!!! Nonee and myself enjoyed some yummy blizzards as well:)
