Addison's Kindergarten Pics

So here is the story I don't have pics to blog for Addie's first day bc we took all the pics with Larry's camera and he takes it with him to the club everyday.It is kind of frustrating but I love him anyway:) So here are some pics from her teacher of the whole class doing different things during the first week. I hope to get some pics off of his computer and put them up, but if not these will do. She is doing exceptional and just loves every minute of school. Today they went to the library and checked out books for the first time, she was so excited. Although she did choose a dinosaur book which is a little bit random...Anyway just click on this link and check it out:)

Boys will be boys

So here are some pics of little man being the boy that he is. He has a new 4 wheeler that Nonee bought him when he insisted...( our kids so know how to work their nonee) He loves this thing with a passion.. he sits on it for hours and makes the vroom sound with his mouth as well as with the button that also makes that sound... usually he throws a few growls in as well...Some of the other pics are him in the driver seat of his PaPa's boat (more pics to come on that).. he crawled right to that spot and immediatly began to imitate the noise of a boat and driving... they just have it in them it is hilarious... then you will see him playing in the "wa-wa" with his Mimi and his cousin Caden this weekend in Abilene... he is a magnet to mud, dirt, rocks, water, etc.. it is so funny how he finds and loves to get in it quickly, it amazes me as I watch this little guy how true it is that God made boys the way they are from day 1, who knew:)

Red River

So on my mom's birthday look to the post below:) on very short notice we left for the mountains for a celebration. WE decided to go around 2:00 and we were on the road with two kids by about 4:30. Wow that was crazy. But we were off and so very excited. The guys had to stay here for bus. reasons but the mom, the nonee and the kiddos were ready for adventure and believe me adventure we got:)We did all sorts of stuff and the kids just loved it there.
The first day we took a ride on the ski lift to the top of the mountain after being warned there was a 70% chance of rain and it got really cold if it did rain. No problem we put the kids on and took off... well the way up was just beautiful about 30 minutes of pure bliss just hanging out in God's amazing creation and then on the ride down the heavens opened up on us something fierce. It rained and hailed on us like you wouldn't believe, Lawson had been sleeping so sweetly unitl he was awakend by hail beating down on him..oops Not to meniton the lightening and the freezing cold wind that joined the rain. It was for sure a memory made that is all I am saying...
We just really enjoyed our time. We took the kids to play at the park, there was chili cook off with live music to enjoy, Addie Grace and Nonee went on a horseback ride up into the mountains, and Addis0n also did lots of other fun things. We also let the kids play in the rain, and in the river but that didn't last long bc it is really cold there already. It was so relaxing there and just plain good times..

Happy Birthday Nonee!

So my mom had a birthday on Aug. 15th and the kids and I had the honor of taking her to lunch for a greasy burger and some homemade potato fries:) She claims she is 29 but that is getting a little weird since her youngest child (me) is going to be 30 in March. But we will let her believe what she wants:) I am so blessed to have such an incredible mom and the kids are so very blesssed to have such an over the top Nonee... she is a blessing in everyway. She is all that you desire to be as a mom. She has been there without fail and continues to give of herself to us everyday in the most unselfish way. She is such an important part of our lives and she brings us lots of joy. We love you Mom and Nonee:)

Little Man has taken off :)

So while we were gone (of course) Lawson decided he would go ahead and take off walking. He is still looking a little drunk but he is getting more confident all the time and really looking cute. He was fifteen months last week so it is really about time:) Sorry for the sideways pics but couldn't figure how to turn them you get the point thought..he is cute and that is all you need to know:)
